PSDIRAQ has launched the “Iraq Policy Program” for the first time in Basra Governorate. This marks the fifth and final governorate where the program is being implemented this year, following successful sessions in Baghdad, Nineveh, Najaf, and Thi Qar. The training includes participants from both Basra and Maysan governorates.

The focus of the training is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts of public Policy, the policy-making environment, and the influential and affected institutional structures. Additionally, participants will learn how to contribute to positive change by writing policy papers, with examples and practical applications shared throughout the sessions.
