population, with an estimated annual population growth rate of approximately
one million people. This population growth has outpaced the development of
housing units and land allocated for residential purposes. Moreover, the lack of
infrastructure in the transportation and transit sectors has led to the
concentration of the population in urban centers near services, resulting in a
significant increase in housing prices.
